Youth Homelessness, Outreach, Prevention, Education Month, or simply, Youth HOPE Month
Youth HOPE Month, is an awareness campaign spearheaded each November designed to "shine a light" on the experiences of runaway and homeless youth that too often remain invisible.
The prevalence of runaway and homelessness among youth is staggering, with studies suggesting that each year, nationally, over 4.2 million young people ages 13-25 endure some form of homelessness, including children in our community. Our mission this November is to increase awareness, advocate, and educate on behalf of youth and young adults experiencing homelessness and youth runaways. Through a month-long social media campaign and events, we hope to point out the overlap between at-risk and underserved youth and young adult populations.
In conjunction with Youth HOPE Month, Park Place Outreach is also celebrating 40 years this November serving runaway, homeless, and at-risk youth in the community. To celebrate our milestone 40th anniversary, Park Place invites you to support our goal to raise $40,000 for our 40th in support of our mission to help those most vulnerable - at-risk youth. Shine a Light of Hope Today - Give.
